Downloading and Viewing Class Presentations
If you prefer to download class presentations instead of viewing the streaming version, you can create and download the presentation directly in the catalog page. To do so, follow the steps below.
At your classes catalog page, there is an option to download for each presentation. To begin creation of the downloadable package, click “download” and then click "publish to go."
If the “downloadable” presentation has not yet been created, you will be prompted to create the package by clicking the “Submit” button. If it has been created, you will be prompted to download the package.
After clicking the “download” link, you may be asked to save the file (browser dependent). Choose a location on your computer that you will remember to save the file.
Once the file has been saved, you will need to extract, or “unzip” the file. In Windows XP and later, you can do this by RIGHT clicking the file and choosing “Extract All Files”, then “Extract”. If you're on a Mac and you experience issues extracting the files using the built-in Archive Utility, we recommend downloading "The Unarchiver" from the Mac App Store
After the file extraction is complete, all you need to do is double click the “Default.html” file within the directory of extracted files. The presentation will launch your default browser and begin to play.
If you have any problems with the downloadable presentations, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
